Situated on the Parramatta River at Ermington, in Sydney ’s west, it boasts
  • two full size soccer fields,
  • a mini field for Rooball,
  • two tennis courts, (available for hire)
  • two basketball courts,
  • netball hoops,
  • four baseball fields,
  • a bicycle track,
  • canteen/toilet facilities, and
  • covered hillside seating with electric BBQs.

The park also features 3 wind sculptures designed by Melanie El Mir. Standing like sentinels, over 10 metres tall and close to the river, these beautiful artworks echo the windmills of early Parramatta.

ACCESS AND PARKING

George Kendall Riverside Park is easily accessed via Boyle Street or Trumble Avenue, off Boronia Street, where car parking is available for approx. 50 vehicles. Alternatively, access and car parking is also available via Spurway Street

SOCCER

The soccer competition is conducted over 18 games with half of these games being played at the home ground and the other half played at soccer grounds within the Granville Association.
All semis, finals and grand finals are played at neutral soccer fields within the Association.

TRAINING

All teams train one afternoon/night per week for one to one and a half hours at George Kendall. Training nights are on either Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Training commences approximately four weeks prior to the start of the season.
